Don't get 'lifetime' pads at those cheap places, they're wear your rotors down much faster.

that's very true!

This is true.

My rotors were just below state allowable minimum, and the pads were still really thick. The previous owner had lifetime pads.

I paid about $325 for a complete professional brake job at Honda with OEM parts. Each rotor was $75 (45251-SD0-000), the pad set was $46 (45022-SD4-528).

My brakes work really well now, and no longer sound horrible the first couple stops in the morning.

well, don't buy pads from Autozone. i changed pads and rotors on my car last summer and rotors are gonners.
anyway, Brembo makes rotors for our cars. I think Nissin was the stock pads. you can find all that on this website.

hmmm..... I bought pads and rotors from Auto Zone and havent had a problem.... yet. The prices are really great too. I got 220k miles on my car.

The pads have about 20k miles on them now and they still have another 20k or more left.

they are cheap enough..I drive on some manical roads where the traffic is moving at 70-80 all the time..fresh rotors are good...cutting them just makes them warp faster under hard braking..maybe some ventilated brembos in future if I can find a deal.

thanks a lot. im just going to go with the cheap rotors and non-lifetime pads. im short on money right now i just got laid off so i cant afford the long lasting rotors. so brembo is the way to go when i get some good money huh. well as always this forum and its members give me the drive to do the shit myself instead of letting a mechanics shop do it and me get raped in charges. thanks guys.
