i think they look good, although they are kinda hard to see cuz they're away from the sun... they're lookin god though

They look good. The top looks darker. But could be the light.

did he wet sand them with finishing sandpaper then use rubbing compound if you do that it looks better and smooth cant tell in pics but if anyone else does that mod i suggest the above finishing method

I did not wet sandpaper them...neither the rubbing compound...but will like to try it....but if I mess the paint...can dilute paint thinner and will it come off clean to see the yellow again?

OMG.... lol no man it IS legal.................. as you can see there are many manufacters with many cars that have red turn signals on them..... but yea its legal......... here is a van for example: 1995 nissan quest xe... has all red tails and reverse light

yes if you use paint stripper on them the paint will come off. a friend was cleaning my tails with acetone and stipped some paint off mine. :rant: now i have to repaint tthe one light.

hey socal.. that acetone is good to use to remove any overspray/paint on the tails, but DO NOT use paint stripper. I made that sad mistake and ended up having to go and get myself a new taillight. That shit's acid and will turn the taillight lens into mush.

Accordboricua --> Sounds kinda dumb, but did you hit the taillights with a hairdryer when you finished painting 'em? If you do just wave the hairdryer over the lens for about 5 min. per lens on high, it should make that paint hard as a rock. That's really the only good way to cure any paint, and you will benefit from it in the long run.

testors transparent cherry red, and krylon clear. go to wal mart

Don't you put on the cherry red first and then after that you will put on the clear coat at the end? i also heard something about using wet sandpaper. what is that all about?

no the top and bottom are the same color.. look to the far left, top and bottom are the same color the the light its the bottom lights from then on. they look freakin sweet man, i need to do that when i have time. great job.

I don't wanna know about painting tailights again. I went through hell with mine! Man, just remembering gets me mad :rant: but I think they turned out good.
