So some of you may have seen my 87 hatchback here on the forums. Now i have a new addition. This has more rust that mine but its still low rust for an 89

beautiful. i get excited to see that some of these cars are still in really good shape unmolested. try that with a civic or integra.....yea right..lol

i was surprised how clean it was.

I believe it has a blown head gasket or cracked head. Going to have to pull it and have it checked. 140k miles though.

If it overheated the headgasket is likely to go. I did my first headgasket after spilling all the coolant in my high school parking lot. just remember to clean everything real good and remove the old one with gasket remover and a razor blade. These heads are strong but you might want to get it resurfaced and pressure checked.

thank you for the advice. Although i am full capable of changing a head, have done a few in my life. :thumbup:
