I had a 79 Accord 4dr that my father bought new and I maintained. At about 80K miles I became the proud owner. I ran it up to 330K miles and turned it in for the “cash for clunkers” money which was more than it was worth at the time. Along the way I had purchased a couple of parts cars and stripped them for parts.
I have a bundle of parts I have found in the back of my shop that I hate to sell for scrap. I would like to have $150 for the lot, pick up in the San Francisco Bay area ONLY; I will not pack or ship.
List:
Both front fenders brand new aftermarket (Taiwan at the time) that I took all of the awful black “primer” off and removed the surface rust, scrubbed down with metal prep, coated with Zinc chromate wash primer and painted with silver Imron two part polyurethane to match followed with an Imron clear coat. These have been hanging on the wall of my shop for years, never installed.
I also have a NIB pair of Boston Acoustics 4x6 inch dual cone speakers that will fit in the dash to replace the stock radio speaker (obsolete part # 707E)
The rest of the items have been stored indoors and are used from parts cars.
1ea 5 spd transaxle
3 ea 3bbl carburetors
2ea electric fuel pumps with mounts
Front and rear optional bumper over ride bars
2ea gear reduction starters
2ea alternators
Air conditioning compressor and hoses
Power steering pump and hoses including the pressure bypass that fits on the transmission
Lots of head bolts
1ea radiator complete with two electric fans
Rear window for a 4dr with a used but serviceable rubber gasket; the defroster traces are intact.
Both rear door roll down windows. I thought I had the triangular rear door window for the left side but cannot find it (yet).
1ea rear brake drum
2ea stock wheel center caps
Aftermarket Addco rear sway bar with custom mounting brackets that I made for it.
