1988 Honda accord bogs when leaving from a stop

Hello I have a 1988 Honda accord carbureted with auto trans. We replaced fuel filters, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor and drained the gas and put in fresh gas. The car has been sitting for 3 years. we also adjusted high idle low idle and choke idle. the car is running good but when we leave a stop and step on the gas hard it boggs down then takes off. If we step on it when we are already going it takes off without hesitation. In neutral it also has no hesitation. looking for help Please.

accel pump? I think it was called. Check timing?

Most likely some varnish in the carb. Start with a can of injector cleaner and see what that does.

Thank You Demon it was broken accelerator pump linkage. repaired running awesome now!
