so this morning i go to start my car, turned over but wouldn't fire, turned over slow though and it was freezing temps lastnight, so i had to charge my battery, cuz the temps killed it. i got to work 2 1/2 hours late when it was all said and done. i figure i can get a battery tomorrow, no problems. then i get in my car after work, turn on my heater, it starts goin and then all the sudden the fan kicks off and i smell something burnt. i checked under the dash on the passenger side for smoke or fire, nothing. did my heater motor die? theres still heat in the vents but it just isn't moving anywhere..... whats wrong!??! think it could be just the switch?

sounds like the heater motor fried, also check the fan resistor that controls the speeds of the fan motor. It is located on the passenger side up next to the fire wall. There will be a plug from the fan motor going to it and the resistor is held in by 2 phillips screws (you'll need a stubby screwdriver). Good Luck!
