engine wont crank! HELP!

well i was coming home today and i stop at the store, and im sitting there with the engine running talking to a friend (4th gen owner) and all of a sudden my engine just goes dead and my battery light and oil light come on, now it wont start back up, it makes a weird grinding noise like it wonts to start but cant, its not the ignition

please help

Do you have fuel in your tank? :D

-Check fuel psi
-Check spark (including all plugs & wires)
-Check Oil
-Check CPU codes
-Check all Fuses & relays

Oh! and check your starter and wires.

check right below your throttle body above the valve cover to the right. if you have a fuel injected there should be a little box there its aluminum and it says japan on the top of it its chrome and about 2 inches big. push on that, move it around and then start your car.
