any of you guys think that getting a chome/silver/white dash trim would look good?

i plan on either painting mine silver when i do the interior, or buying a silver one (might as well paint it though, since i am painting everything else!) i think it would look good in most cases...

I made my own out of 1/8" aluminum and polished it.

How in the world did you cut that aluminum so perfectly. I tried that with a dremel and it looked like shit. Great job!!

I use a template, a hole saw that is just a little small and a high speed air die grinder with a sanding barrell on it. Teh holes for the warning lights however I usually file by hand to get right.

I am planning on making a few more.

Any chance you could scan and post that template? That is really good looking and I may want to buy one if you made it.

im thinking about taking it out and painting it white. i mean... i dont think they make one that may fit our 3geez... but even if they did, i probably wouldn't buy it. no money :crying:

I would be interested but it would take a month or a little longer for me to get the $$$ but I am definitely interested!

Even if you were to do the big parts like the circles and just do the little things kind of roughly, that would be cool because I could sand them down myself.
