THIS IS HIS MONSTER TRUCK... I MEAN hatchback

nice car... you need to lower it like 2 and a half inches
crazy wheels

I had an 86 hatch that i lowered with 2 and a quarter springs. It rode like shit, so i bought this about 2 months ago and
I plan on lowering it an inch. Eibach springs are on my list. I bought the wheels for $250 from a friend. They are Mondera 17 inchers. When they first came out they were $2,000 for all 4, so says my friend. My car is the only pimped out 3 geez that i've ever seen in real life. Do you like the gauges? And thanks for putting the pictures here for me. I've been having a hell of time doing it.

what setup were you running(i.e. which struts?, and i'm guessing the sprints?) and, if you're going for handling..., eibachs will give you WORSE handling than stock. well, it'll give you more understeer. Jim is the suspension god around here..., he could tell you how to get the best ride/handling and everything, lol

I'm using the r mats for winter, They clean up easy. Plus they are red, and red floor mats are hard to come by. I have some better ones (Black carpeted) i use in the summer. I don't want to get them dirty. I had sprints on my other car with mountain ryder shocks/struts. I think this time around I'll get kyb. I heard Eibach's are pretty good. Any answers?

nice ride. i dont care for the color but the work you did with matchin it is great. its really detailed oriented. read the thread thats posted above. then you'll know exactly what to get if you want to go back to 2 inch drop. if you get the rgiht stuff it wont ride like shit.

any tips about whether or not i'll need a camber kit? That one site was really helpful

DigitaLuminescence

:omg:

WOW.

WOW as in  <-- that kind of WOW.

I love your car. Okay, now I've got some motivation.

I think the only part of the car that doesn't look like it works with the rest is the wheels. They aren't really linear enough with the car. If the wheel spokes were straight (instead of curved) then it would look a hell of a lot better... heh, as if it doesn't look pretty much perfect already. :)

I think some gunmetal rims might look good, maybe something from RS Limited, 5Zigen, or Racing Hart (if you like the look of rims like that). But chromies look really nice on your car also, just go for straight spokes.

I love your gauges!

Like maka_RTH said: Jim is probably the number one source for suspension information and components. Ask him about the camber kit, but I don't think you would need the kit if your only lowering it an inch. (But don't count on my word though, I don't know too much about that stuff.)

NICE WORK!!

One reason I like my wheels, is nobody else has them. I would like to get some new rims, but i'd rather spend that money twards an h22 engine and convert to 5 speed. At the rate I'm going, I think it might happen in the next year. I have too much ambition. As with myy gauges, I haven't seen any other 3 geez with them right there. It takes alot of motivation and skill. Any questions just holler.

That's pretty cool, that I'm not the only Idahoan. The gauges are Sunpro, they work great.

you need a camber kit if you lower it more than 1.5 inches.. and really lower it like 2 inchs again.. just make sure you do it exactly how jim says and youll love it

that ride is tight man.
get a lil lower and you gonna be straight.
I like the rims too. Seeing your interior makes me wanna do mine in silver

BITESIZE

The Snowboard rack was already on there when I bought my ride.

And my inside isn't silver, it's chrome to match my chromie wheels and my chromie fire extinguisher.

By the way I had to use my fire extinguisher the other day when my high power hose to my power steering pump blew in half and sprayed that shit all over. My engine was hot and caught fire. Luckily I had my trusty Ol' Fire extinguisher. I had to pressure wash my engine to get the powder shit off. That's why my engine looks so clean.

Hey Bitesize, welcome to the forum, and thats a tight ride, one thing that i dont really like are the wheels. (You know, peronal opinon) But everythings nice, the guages and the interior looks really nice!

THANX for the compliment. I like your ride as well. Where are your wheels though? My custom gauges turned out very well after several hours of practice and sweat. They even light up indiglo somewhat. I'll see you around.

cough cough, chokin on the rice. Sorry dont like your car at all, paint matched interiors are played. Chromes dont belong on hondas, you have no need for all those guages, leather bras never look good on any car, and the suspension is stock. Nothing personal, i just despise your car.

Thanx Mantis! You have good taste. I appreciate the compliment.

As for Chronicsinners,

If you didn't like my car than why did you bother writing to me. Usually when I see a car I dislike I will not even waste my time writing to tell them. So actually I will take yours as a compliment. I'm glad you spent time to look at my pictures and write me. People like you make me want to make my hatch cooler than it already is. Truely thanx Chronicsinners. And I think Mike's car is badass unlike your ignoramous opinions! His chrome rims don't show richness LIKE you said, they show good taste. AND...............Please post a picture of your car so I can see what your opinion of a nice car is. BUT.....don't post your 1977 Ford Taurus without hubcaps.-I'll bet that's what you drive, unless you really do own a 3geez.

And that's enough of the back and forth on opinion's guys. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when you deliver it in a harsh manner, your bound to get a harsh reply. Do NOT up the war of words from this point.:werd:
