CAI can sound odd because of the delay with the suction the growl of the pipe come a second after the carb sucs in for air... the cavum has to be created in the pipe then air goes in and it makes its noise... short ram would just scream at ya when ever u stomped it...and gets louder as you you go faster/quicker..

I made an intake out of pvc piping, just playing around and it dont really suck that hard. I have it angled back towards the firewall and angled down towards the cv joints and stuff. Its not loud at all.

I think it would be louder if it were alluminum piping b/c it would echo more IMO. I prefer the short ram with a hoodscoop over the filter. Like what I'm in the middle of setting up :D

Mine is loud but my car sounds like it has a V8 in it anyways. It's a good mean sounding car.

IF its a carbed then you need to make a custom one..which is the purpose of the post. If you have EFI.....well......theres ebay for starters.....and then theres not enough band width on the internet to list all the places. im too fuggin lazy......there's...

nopi.com, And OldSchoolSwap's website has links for a bunch of different places... click it out
