hey guys. im replacing my clutch and I figured that since my transmission is out, now is a good time to consider flywheel options. I ordered a new one from rock auto, but it weighs 23 lbs and came out of the box with a very noticable dent on it(i will be returning it)

what's the best option that we have for flywheels now? I want one that is 12-18 lbs, but would prefer closer to twelve. I am thinking about getting the stock flywheel lightened but I was wondering if there are more reliable/ cost effective ways to go about this. are there any reliable aftermarket options?

alright so I found an aluminum flywheel for the A series online, but it's only 9 lbs, costs $400, and only has a year warranty. looks like I might be going with my 23 lb rock auto replacement... oh well. maybe i'll win the lottery tomorrow, but I cant justify spending 400 on a flywheel

Get your factory one lightened. Cheapest option tbh.
