I went to the local muffler shop and told them I wanted to replace the exhaust from the flex pipe back, due to the fact that the flex pipe was leaking anyway. They hooked me up with a 2.25 inch stainless steel Flex pipe, high flow cat and custom bent 2.25 pipe back to a 3A Racing muffler with 2.5" inlet and 4.5" round slant tip. It sounds AWESOME, it has a nice low tone at idle and stays low thru the power band. NOT "ricey" like the fart cans on Civics...LOL

i think the best size would be 2 inch... higher if you race alot, no lower tho... but a full 1.5 inch pipe is fun... no muffler and it soulds like a VERY LOUD DIRTBIKE... i have experimented with many sizes...

i had to replace my flex pipe also and i drove for a bit without an exaust just cooming right form the headers and a makeshift down pipe so my ass didnt burn up...wow the sound our engines make its amazing...whne sitting at a red light or going slow it sounded crappy but when accelerating it sounded sooooooo good :-) but would of gotten annoying but how much would it cost ofor a single piece exaust system?

get a custom 2.25in run with no res. Put a dynomax super turbo muffler on there and your good to go. Custom (non mandrel bent) piping is around $100 to run and to weld your muffler on.

4-2-1 header highflow cat and dynomax 2.25 mandrel bent sounds damn good. A lot like a car and not to loud so you don't look like an ass everywhere you go.

I have Pacesetter headers And a high flow cat and 2 1/2 inch pipeing all the way back. The muffler is a 3a racing muffler. and that damn muffler is deep. it does really shake the house when she is woken up in the morning

I would suggest a highflow over a test pipe.
