I am going to shave my antenna, but am wondering what people used to fill the hole in? I know you can weld metal to it, but I really dont want to do that because it would mean more work. I was wondering if there is an easier way?

I shaved mine. I used this two part compound called a hole filler. It was like $3 at Pep Boys and worked fine. Just be sure to give the stuff a week or so to dry real good before sanding because the antenna hole is pretty big/deep and it take a while to dry all the way through. Simple to sand and paint though.

If you don't weld it, it won't last. Whatever you use to fill it will either shrink or expand or bleed through the paint. It may look good for a while but give it a year and you will see it. If you take it to a body shop it shouldn't cost more than $30 to get the hole welded over.

Mine isnt welded, put fiberglass in mine and finally smoothed it with Bondo. It has been like that for 2 years and I havent had any problems yet. I now use a Fuba antenna on my car.

Is it possible to move the antenna back to where they are on the 1990 honda accord? I think that looks a lot better.
