Well Me and Joel or is it Joel and I were damn bored one day so we made a custom intake from my old honda intake parts and an APC cone filter. His Tempo is probably pushing 100 HP now!! and can accelerate UP HILL. :D This should give an idea for those looking for a cheep intake solution total cost 25.99 + tax.

how much dows the filter cost ? isn't it themost expensive on all the parts used to create an intake ! :D

The filter was 25.99 I used old piping from my stock intake system for the tubing then I drilled holes for the hoses and used goop silicon glue I had around the house to seal around the hoses. I got the filter from pepboys.

K&N ones are about 60 or more. So what do the rest of you think of my handy work.

notice I put it right infront of the cooling fan so when the engine heats up the fan will cool the intake down.
