I just saw a commercial for a Honda pilot coming June 1st
any info on that?

It's built on the same platform as the Odessey minivan. And from the test's I've read, the Acura version (MDX) is more than worth the extra money. And the Acura is a heck of allot better looking.
I had high hopes for the Pilot, but I can get a toyota highlander for less, which I have driven and really like.

The Highlander has that funky shifter just like the Lexus RX 300. I've driven the Lexus, very quiet, nice piece of machinery. That shifter just throws you off.
