I hope it works for you. I've never had good luck with old ass Weber carbs. Worn out throttle shafts, corroded passages... Much less risky buying a new carb. Once you buy the rebuild kit, the adapter plate, and all the other little parts, you're well on your way to buying a new carb that you don't have to fuck with.
