This is my very first car.
It was a 1978 Honda Civic CVCC.
I bought it back in 1990 from a garage sale for $300. It was brown, beat up, had no interior, the windshield was smashed and it didn't run. I was only 15 when I bought it and my parents would never buy my own car so I had to get something with my paper route money.
I drove it for four years and spent most of my time working on it.
I never have been much for doing engine work but by the time I was done this one had Weber sidedraft carbs, a Jackson Racing header and a 1 1/2 inch exhaust (but it was still quiet). I also did a 5 speed swap on it (it came with a four speed). The wheels were Panasport Mighty-lite 13x5.5 with 175/50/13 tires.
I went through all different kinds of stereos in it. That was the big thing back then. At one time I had 4-12s and 7 amps. For a while there was 2-10's, 2-12's and 2-8's in it. But most of the time I stuck with 2 Kicker 12's.
The interior was all grey velour with Ford Escort GT seats in it. I don't think I did too bad for my first car.

Thanks guys,
I traded it in for $1200 on an 89 Mazda 323 hatchback. I don't have a clue how many miles it really had. The odometers only went up to 99,999 miles back then and when I got the car it had 32,000 on it. It could have been 132k or 232k or 332k. Since the car was completely trashed when I got it I will just believe that it had about 232k on it. I put over 100,000 miles on it while I had it so it had a good life. I still miss that car.
I'll post pictures of my 323 soon.

OK, here's the 323.
It was completely stock when I bought it. I only owned it for four months. It was super clean, I even waxed the door jambs and engine bay in it.
I know somebody will say something about the wires, but they were basically the only thing available back then. The wheels didn't stick out at all even though they look like it in the picture.
As soon as I bought the Accord I went out and bought 16s for it, which were the first set of 16s on a Honda in the state. (They swore there was no way 16s would ever fit a Honda) :)

It just looks wierd because it is a picture of a picture. It was fine in real life.
Thanks for all the compliments. I was expecting a lot of people talking trash because of the color. Nowadays it is kind of a gay color but that was back at the very beginning of the "teal" trend.
