hey I really didn't know what forum section I should've of posted this question in, but here it is:
What should I do to get my trunk lid to close? I have to move around the little circular latch thing until it's in the right position and then close it by hand and sometimes I have to do it a few times for it to work. Is there some easy way to repair it or should I just buy a whole new trunk lock thing?

just go to the junkyard and get the whole lock system (no cable) and swap it in your car. the problem could be due to a faulty spring.

I usaually raise the latch bar a bit higher... it only has 2 bolts so it's easy to adjust.

Yeah,
A20A1 is right, my mustang did that too, and it was all a matter of the adjustment of the latch bar on the bottom side.

I did have but I changed it, I am wishing I had not. I cannot find it again. That was such an awsome movie (Princess Mononoke) I think thats how you spell it anyway...
