Trying to post my ride again....hope it works, if not would someone please tell me how to do it. This is my 88 accord lxi, under construction with more pics to come.

I already had assistance with posting my hydro setup, but some wanted to see the ride. A lot is still stock, but will be adding more soon as we are preparing to hit the car show circuit......

I think the attachments can be up to 1 megabyte if sent to my J-Mail account. Not quite sure, but it's close. Send them individually, though, after I respond to your PM.

You have the img codes down right but you need to host the pictures somewhere. I use Geocities and really have no problems unless I host a lot of pictures. Just go to geocities and start up a free account. The only thing you need to remember about Geocities is that to link pictures to other places, you have to rename them from jpeg's to .txt

Just change the .txt to .jpg in the address bar and you can see the pic, its kind of a pain but it works.

Nice set up man, but you gotta cover or paint that box! If you can get these ones up, maybe in the future you could take some other pics of the hydros in action.

You have to use a txt file to make geocities link. Check out the pictures of my amps below, they are a txt file.

Go into the file manager and click the little box next to the picture. Then click rename and change the name to whatever you want to name it but end it with ".txt"

After it is changed, click on view and cut and paste the address.

You have everything else down, so once you change them it will work.

Uhh I think this might be a first 3G ever to have hydros. How high can it jump?

sorry for the misprint...pearl....o.k. fellas, here are the stock inside before the upcoming overall....it will be nothing drastic, just some vinal tan piping to the already good condition tweed seats....the open holes are for the stereo and the television.....I know some don't like the television there because of the shift in the way, but when it is in drive or neutral, it is not in the way.....is anyone sold on having it in the visors?

I don't have hopping springs in it, so unfortuneately, it won't jump...I think on the "floss your pics" page there is another 3G with hydros. I like them, but I almost loss the family for the money I invested it it...it had to be done twice because the first "independent garage installer" did it, but the hydros stopped working after the third day. The setup also sucked, so I went to a professional installer and had it redone, so basically, I paid twice for the work

Oh I don't know abything about hydros, I just figured everyone hopped. Looks nice though.

I had them at one time too. It was way back in 1995 before the board was around though. It was just a simple 1 pump 2 dump setup.
The setup looks nice and clean.

Those "square" subs are kicker solobaric. They came out last year and they kick a major punch. As for the "home job" yea, we are in the process of customizing the rest of the system. I couldn't stand not having no bump in the ride so I had to at least start it. We are going to finish after we have the seats redone

so why would you go with hydros instead of air if you cant hop ? Arent they a shitload more money ?

No, actually it is about the same price if it has done right. I am not completely sold on air yet, because I am not sold on the way it looks when the switches are hit. I like the old school movement of the car with switches. To make it jump, all that really is needed is a different set of shocks, but I wasn't interested in all that.

jumping = alot o frame work or else = frame damage

Does it do 3 wheels?????
Man the car sits low! get some 17''s and you will be pimpin'
bouncy bouncy!!

n1accord88
02-12-2003, 04:58 AM
yea, like hodavtec said, I didn't want to have to worry about the frame so I didn't care if it does three or not. I would have to weld some metal on the frame, and I am not tryin' to do that yet. I think I might get 17s though!!!!
