hey guys, my name is will and ive recently bought a red 5 speed 1988 hatchback. I got it for a whopping 500 bucks from the original owner who according to him, took it to the dealer for every single service no matter how big or small. I haven't given her a name yet but ittl come. my plans are to fix it up (has a massive vacuum leak) and use it as my dd. I want to slightly modify it i.e. lower it, wheels and tires, headlights and sound system. unfortunately I live in California so I cant do anything cool with the motor. I mainly just want it to look good and drive good anyways though. this forum has already helped me a ton with learning about these cars so ill be fixing it soon. im totally new to Hondas. ive worked on and built a lot of miatas though so this fwd stuff is a little weird haha. anyways thanks for all the posts on here they are solving headaches

almost rust free haha. it was originally a nevada car but only has a little rust on the right rear wheel well on the outside by the bumper. ill get that taken car off most likely in the summer.i don't see any more rust other than that. i finally got my oem gaskets and ill get them in hopefully next week. I'm excited to drive it. it seems like a great little car.
