...so I just got back from the junk yard where I came across an 89 LX-i. This little biatch was loaded to the brick shithouse. I took a peak inside, and there it was... ...a full armrest and tape holder console. I quickly whipped out the trusty phillips head and within seconds it was mine! This one also came with factory fog lights. :huh: ...yeah that's what I thought too.

The fogs were smashed to shit, but b/c they were factory there was a factory switch. :) That one made it's way into my pocket.

Anyway, I go up to Dave (the owner of the j/y) and he's like 25 and it's urs. I was like done, then walked out and let out one hell of a WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Nice find man...good job. I gotta go visit a j/y one of these days and see what it has to offer. I'm currently gonna call this place where they are selling K&N Air Filters for about 40% off...hell of a deal. Gotta get the # from a friend.

Lucky bastard. Damn, all the 3G's I've seen a the junkyards don't have an armrest. Anyways, you were lucky. Did you get lucky later that night too? :D

Mine came with an armrest. hehe, I like that I can store things in it, and put my arm on it (rubs it in your faces)--LOL, just kidding, glad you found one-those foglights are very open for curb damage though, be carful parking.

what j/y? thats awseom...nice find.

I've seen factory fogs on the baord before---i have pics of em saved on my computer. they have front covers that flip up just like our head lights :) there so cute.....optional though......sounds like who vere bought that one really went all out.....and had a really nice ride back in 89...

I have a full SE-i armrest too. I want those factory foglights though. Oh well I'll be happy with my new JDM corners though.

my armrest has a switch on it but i think its a up down switch kinda like a power window switch. i tihnk it might of been for the power antenna

It is the power antenna switch. My armrest has it :D

Yep power antenna switch. I think everyone one has it on the console. (LX and up)
