What about slightly thicker paper? Not quite photo but definetly not plain.

And does the thickness play a role in how it looks?

:lol That was funny Coroncho80..... but that's besides the point... LOL but n e ways..... u don't really wanna use a thick plain piece of paper, cuz it will effect the way the gauges work.... if the paper is too thick... it will be harder to get an accurate reading, because the thicker the paper, the harder it's gonna be for the needles to move around freely, thus making it move slower, or it may not move at all..... use photo type printable paper or use some type of glossy type printable paper..... but you may want to also consider in getting one of those types of paper but with a sticky backing that way you can just stick it to the stock gauges, instead of using like elmers glue or something.... so try one of those options listed above..... They are very easy to install, I'm sure you know how to take the gauges out, needles etc... just be very careful when u do it... hope this helps.... if u have any further questions... feel free 2 ask... Lataz. :super:

The home made gauges SUCK. I tried to print out a set and install them 2 years ago, they do not stay where you put them. Cutting the hole the perfect size is near to impossible. They always shift around. Drop $50 and buy a REAL set.

Nate.

Hey 89AccordNate... did you try using like elmers glue to stick it over the stock gauges.... if not that, may be the answer why they didn't stay in place, but you would have to conferm that, cuz I dunno what exactly how you kept it in place... I am not sure if u used any type of glue of some sort to keep the white paper gauges in tacked with the stock ones..... If u didn't that may of been the reason it didn't stay on well.... But yeah I do have to agree on that one with you Nate how the real ones are better, but It's also good to be creative... Well that's just my 2 cents... lataz
