i was wondering if $350 dollars is cheap for an lxi motor complete with ecu, wire harness, with 166,000 miles on it. I am thinking about doing a efi swap. Should i pay the 350 or look for a cheaper motor somewhere else?

Thats a pretty good deal. Do you know if the motor runs or not? I'm assuming that you only get the enging harness with that, there are a few other harnesses that need to be changed as well.

I think that is a good deal too if it runs!!!! around here I can buy an entire engine at the "You Pull It" junk yard for $159 to $199 but i get no guarantee it will run.

You need far more than that for an EFI conversion. Make sure you get all the parts.

yeah it is a running engine and has a six month guarantee. And i know that i need a lot more. I already am getting a fuel pump for $15 and a gas tank for $10, the cabin wire harness for $9.50 a section, and everything else that ill need ill get it where i am getting the engine.

Damn. I replaced my A20A3 with another A20A3 in which I got for $450 with 150K miles on it and it's just the motor alone. Guess I got raped.
