it is your fuel pump. buddy of mine had the same problem on his carbed accord.

running out of fuel... the pump can't keep up either cause it too weak.. or it's clogged... check the fuel filters.

No it isnt. It's probably the clutch if you have it. If its a crappy aftermarket clutch or something the ride is going to suffer. Trust me, my friend had a crappy aftermarket clutch in his car and replaced it with a very nice replacement and the problem is gone. If you don't have a clutch then check your fuel filters, both of them.

It has a brand new fuel pump, fuel filter. And a brand new clutch. the clutch has about 1000 miles on it. SO that dont help. And i had plenty gas. just 33 miles on the full tank so... I guess that dont help too much. It does it like evernow and then. It really did it bad when i first put my intake on. Then now it dont do it. It just worries me that it was messing up.

There are two fuel filters, make sure BOTH have been replaced. And don't say you think so. Honda dealerships say they do and they don't (personal experience) so MAKE SURE they have both been done. And did your car do this before you put in the new clutch?

Maybe some carb cleaner would help, or ... I hate to say this.. You may need to rebuild your carb. There could be a clog in the lines as well or perhaps something foreign got into your gas tank.

Yeah it pretty much goes withouts saying that if you have a 3rd Gen your carb needs to be cleaned and rebuilt.

I'm not sure how much the filters cost... when I replaced mine I just bought an in-line clear view filter that would fit... I replaced the rubber fuel lines at the rear and at the front... there will be a lot of gas in the lines so get a suitable catch pan... anyways the lines at the rear are 3/8" and from the firewall to the filter is 3/8" but the fuel line from the filter to the carb is the only 1/4" fuel line.

you only need about 1 foot of 1/4" diameter fuel line.
get about 4 - 5 feet of the 3/8" just to be safe.
