I just replaced my head gasket and starter after the car had been sitting for about 5 months. I tried to start the car after it was all put back together but it will not start, only turns over. I have:
- charged the battery,
- checked all connections,
- double checked timing belt was put on correctly,
- replaced spark plugs.
The spark plugs are receiving spark, and the Carburetor is receiving gas. Ive tried using a little starter fluid but still nothing. Any suggestions?
I don't think the DX model has a main relay, or else I would have replaced that already too.
This was my first head gasket job on a Honda, would it have been possible I installed the timing belt a half cam rotation off, as in the timing is 180° off? how would I be able the check?
