I haven't had a 3rd gen daily driver now for a decade, but I found a low mileage one in my area, and am thinking about buying it. However, I've run into problems with my current automobile from 1982 (non-honda), that parts availability is getting slim. I didn't have that issue much when I had a Volvo 240, but wanted to see what everyon'e current experience is. I've longed to have another 3rd gen accord, but it's rare to find them in Ohio that aren't rusted out, or otherwise destroyed.

I haven't had any issue with parts from auto parts stores, if that's your concern. I've replaced/serviced brakes, fuel filter, injectors, & done plenty of other routine maintenance without a hiccup in getting the parts.

Wholesale Closeout Parts : 1989 HONDA ACCORD 2.0L L4 (http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1167049&m=wc&l=en&html=true)

Pretty good selection. There are a few parts that are hard to find but nothing that I would consider a show stopper.

Rockauto seems to have a pretty solid inventory of parts

if you go to honda forget it. they wont carry most parts. auto parts stores or online are your best bet. ig you get the car at a good deal dont pass it up
