Accord CV axles on a prelude

The transmission on my 1987 Accord hatch decide it didn't want to work, I found an '87 prelude 2.0si with bad CVS, will my accord CV axles bolt onto the prelude? I have a dx hatchback ( carbureted ) both are automatic and have the 2.0.

I'm not sure what you want to do...

1- Install the Prelude transmission in your Accord
2- Install your Accord Axles in the Prelude

Option 1- You can get the transmission from the Prelude and install in in your Accord. You will need to re-use all the hardware that was on your car (mounts, cables, brackets, etc)

The Prelude transmission will have a little shorter gear ratio.

Option 2- The Accord axles will not work in the Prelude. The axles are chassis dependent. You can probably take the outer joint on your Accord and put it on the Prelude axle but I'm not too sure it would work.
