I've noticed that my car leans to the drivers side. What causes that? I know my struts are shot, could that be the problem?

I kinda doubt it's the struts. Our cars a known for the springs going south and needing to be replaced. I've even heard of things like broken coils and such. I know the one's I pulled to install my lowering springs were just fine, nothing wrong with them at all at 198k

i remember from the day i could remember that my accord sat low... evenly... all stock, it just simply sat low to the ground, like it was lowered

i could remember this back in like 93 when ole granny still had it

Yeah I measured and mine is about 1/2 inch lower on the driver's side too.
Nobody else notices tho.

Are you a big guy? That could cause it .. :p

But for real, my car had the same problem, when I pulled the stock springs and replaced them the coil had rotted through, so probably it is a bad coil.

my car is lower on the driver rear side. It was like that when the car had stock springs and now it's the same with the neuspeed springs.

One more thing.

Broken coils are a problem on the 3rd gen accord. I had both of my front coils die on me. All you notice is a big BANG noise... then the car rides fine... unless you hit a railroad or a serie of potholes... so get your coils checked just to make sure they are in good condition.

No, i'm a lite guy 160 lbs., 6'' 2'. Are the coils and the springs the same thing? Because i'm planning on dropping my car and was gonna replace the springs anyway.

It is also possible it in the bushing where the strut fork mounts to the lower A-arm. Mine was pushed down badly, and it deformed the rubber in the process; 15 years of being use, it got replaced. Car sat even there after.

If you are doing your suspension, replace the strut fork bushing.
