Hello all,
What are, if any, the downsides to removing the EGR system.
I removed the valve and manifold tube, quicksteeled the manifold, and used exhaust puddy for the header opening.
I noticed that the vacuum line for the brake booster connects to the part of the manifold that seems to be jacketed with the EGR system. I have slight vacuum issues with my brake booster when coming to a full stop.
