Wanting different gearing.

Does any one know if there is another tranny (5spd) that will bolt up with the A20a3? I was thinking of the Prelude tranny but I'm not sure if it will bolt up. Any ideas?

i think 2g lude trannies will fit, and if you are into doing some custom work, you can fit integra gears into the accord housing, and use accord 5th gear, thats what phydaux (sp) did!

i think lude / LXi trannies are realy similar, i am not sure if its any better...but i think its a slight improvement

If I keep the Accord, I need to improve the gearing. Civics tear my shit up because they have such different gearing. They have better power at 35-40MPH than my Accord. I have to be at 45MPH to do damage.

There's a 2nd generation Prelude with a manual tranny (last I checked) at AA pull-a-part on Irvington a little east of the power plant. I'm not sure how much they want for it though. It was filthy, but probably still works fine.

the best setup is the integra/accord tranny hybrid. with the accord fith.
