Things I've checked to diagnose the issue

Adjusted both Throttle and Trans cable
Throttle stop solenoid on back of the carb
Throttle adjustment screws
Carb float
Fuel pump
Distributor
Idle Mixture screw

Problem came about after my fuel pump died out a few weeks ago, I replaced the fuel pump with OEM. Yesterday while driving, the car suddenly began to bogg down almost as if it was getting too much gas. The problem gradually got worse to where it won't hold an idle after starting the engine. I can't Drive the car at all, unless i rapidly tap the gas pedal and even then it isn't enough to drive safely.

Anyone?

If i floor the pedal or even just give it a good press, it boggs down.

Are you sure it still gets fuel ? Carb floats would be my idea too. No vacuum in your petroltank ? Clogged jets ? Vacuum leak ? Choke not closing ?
Trial and error i'm afraid.

Auke.

Does it smell heavy of gas?
