If i would go from carb to FI,would i have to swap petroltanks too ?
As now the carb has a 3 psi fuelpump not mounted inside the tank ,that will have to be a high pressure pump with FI,but do i also need the tank of an FI with an internal fuelpump ? Or can i just change fuelpumps and keep my old petroltank ?

Auke.

EFI 2g Prelude has external fuel pump too but they have baffles around the pickup tube to maintain constant fuel supply for the fuel pump when youre running low on fuel.

You can get away with just the carb tank if you maintain more than 1/4 tank of fuel although the best way to do it is to swap the tank or run a surge tank like I do.

What about the return line?

Good point. That's just why I'm asking around here. Why does a carb only need a fuel line and an airbreather/vacuum-line,and does a FI also need a return fuelline ? So that would be three lines in total ?

I added a 7mm hard line for the return and plumbed it back to the fuel filler neck pipe although I don't recommend this because it somehow would build too much pressure and it would start to leak there no matter what I did. The best way is to add another fitting on top of the tank itself (on the cover thinggy for the sending unit, idk what its called now omg) along with the stock feed line to the fuel pump.

What about the return line?

The return line is attached to the pump so this isn't a problem.

The only "problem" with the carb tank is the missing baffles.
