ok, can some one explain to me how in the world do you mount mikuni carb. they have round back and no holes to be screwed through.
so how do you mount them?
i am currently biding on set of 4 mikuni carbs

ok i think i figured out. this link says that they use rubber mounting flanges http://www.pro-flo.com/proflo_intake_manifolds.htm
why do they use rubber? and will it withstand engine heat?
this website has exploded views of Mikuni and Keihin carbs http://www.pro-flo.com/proflo_carburetors.htm
ok i just found this http://www.pro-flo.com/proflo_ysr50_carbs.htm
it is only 22mm but as you can see it has adapter plate that will allow for manifold vacuum.
I also found NOS system for mikuki carbs http://www.edelbrock.com/motorcycle/nitrous_systems.html
that would be nice to have.
ok, does anyone have pictures of mikuni carb setup on A20 engine?
i know i have seen them around this board. there was prelude with mikunis and there was old civic with a20 with mikunies.
can some one post pictures or give me a link.
thanks.

This is an custom intake manifold for the A20A fit for Mikunis. It sold on Ebay a while back. The cylinder head was portmatched for it.

if I remember, that was bought by a board member to do a DCOE conversion.

I bought it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33617&item=2400494194

it was custom made for the Mikuni DCOE clone. so it uses the same mounts as a DCOE. The guy was going to use it for a 84 prelude with the a20. So it will fit on the a20 in the accord.

I need to modify it so that the DCOEs will tilt back 10 degrees

That IS very purdy. It looks like it was machined from a block of aluminum! Very cool!
