Pics of my car before (and after a suburban backed into my car while it was parked):

And now (although I'm not done with it yet):

I sanded all the old paint completely off, put on 3 differant primers, then a color coat of "pure white", then a couple layers of clear. All in all, I don't think it looks too bad for it being my first experience painting a car (at least without using a spray can), but it is definately not show quality and needs a little touching up. Hopefully before summer it will be lowered and I will have either 15" or 16" rota or ADR rims (ricey hubcaps are just for winter), and I will have all the windows professionaly tinted (that's cheap vinyl walmart tint that's been on for about 6 months in those pics)

Note - I had been driving the car for a couple weeks by the time I took the pics, so the it's kind of dirty, and the passenger side front window is really fogged up (if you were wondering why it looked so weird).

Like it or hate it, I don't care, I'm just happy to have the car out of the garage and be able to drive it since it's been so long.

I got a DX:( I thought about buying one before I repainted it, but I never use that mirror in any of the other cars I drive anyways, so I decided not to.

It looks pretty clean, I have respect for anybody willing to try doing it themselves. (As long as they try doing it right and without spray paint).

Good job.

The white is a big improvement!!! I love the look of the painted moulding and headlight trim.

i dont think you should have painted the door pillars, and pass mirror assembly, also i think you should have fixed the rust on the rear fender. otherwise looks good.

I like the door pillars painted white, before with the back windows black and the door pillars black, then the front windows completely clear (and eventually a little tinted) it looked pretty bad. The white pillars makes the transition a lot smoother (I sound a little too much like Martha Stewart saying that). And there aren't any rust spots (at least that I know about on the car) that are still there.

Edit - I see what you're talking about with the rustspot now, it's actually just a poorly repaired rust spot. All the rust is gone, I just didn't quite cut a perfect curve when I was cutting the new metal to weld on.
