2nd gear synchro

my gears grind when i shift into 2nd at hgih rpms and when i shift down into second at anything over 2g... i asked some ppl and they said it was the synchronization of the tranny and its not big deal just deal with it...


any responses to this?

I had the same problems 800 later I had a full rebuild. But to deal untill I had saved enough money I used 1 bottle of lucas MTL and rest 10w 30 it really helped with my syncros.

yup.. i've got the same problem.. mine grinds when going into reverse or downshifting into 1st at about 2k rpm..
