YEAH!!! I really hate awesome chrome rims that look really cool, and really expensive paint that makes your car super cool and unique too!!!

I would love to have a set of chrome 18's on mine and some iridescant paint... I would cause accidents like nothing else in my town :D

TK's accord owns, I wouldn't change a single thing on it.

So you want your car to glow under a blacklight?

That's FLUORESCENT paint, not IRIDESCENT ;)

Iridescent paint is the paint that changes color depending on what angle you look at it... TK's is an example of this. My car does it too, but on a much more subtle scale.

BTW, this sort of paintjob usually costs between $10,000 and $20,000 to do, so save them pasos!

(At the hockey rink where I ref/work and my dad manages, we got an iridescent Zamboni from Olympia (brand name). It changed from blue to purple to copper... it was REALLy cool. :D But we had to give it back when our Zamboni got fixed :()

10-20k? nah, it doesnt cost a whole lot more than normal paint to get done, it can be had for a couple g's, even less if you got the tools

I'm sorry, but frankly you're wrong. This was discussed a while back on here and apparently you missed out on that thread...

The paint ITSELF costs a grand or two a pint, then they have to put the car in a special room with magnets and shit... very tricky stuff that no one but specialists can do right.

The Zamboni we got like that cost $16,000 to have it done. I'd bet TK's is somewhere in that range, probably less.

TK, where you at?!?!

a room with magnets? not really. the paint already comes like that, you just gotta know how to apply the base for the paint. the base is what makes it shift colors.

Are you sure? I had forgotten about the base... but I was pretty sure I read somewhere that you needed some special room to do it... I dunno, I very well could be wrong, but I know that everyone I've talked to has said that they paid between 10-20k for theirs...

It can be painted in any room. The paint runs about 2500-3000 for a car of our size. When I painted it the cost was higher on the paint.

He said the PAINT runs that much... he didn't say how much PAINTING was... unless that was what he implied by "$2500-$3000"

If it is that much, then damn, I was totally wrong... unless the painting I'm thinking of is more detailed... that Zamboni was a freakin' work of trippy art, I tell ya... :D

TK isn't really in the import scene. He is more involved in the minitruck scene. It is hard to shift and drag your bumper at the same time :super:
