Thanks for the help with sourcing a transmission for my A20A4 on a recent thread. Special mention to 88Sleeper for his patience with shipping quotes to the uk. I had a re-shuffle over the last few weeks so now the accord has gone from Daily to Project car.
Anyway the main reason for this post is a need for all that is CAD and Holy.
Does anyone have any CAD for CA5 to B-series swap mounts? If not I am planning to design my own. First I need some knowledge on dimensions of existing swap mounts so I can get a mock up on fitments. This drastic change from keeping it stock to engine swap has come about due to access to a 5 axis mill, SolidWorks skill and a very cheap JDM B16 SIR. I know the B16 isn't ideal but with B mounts this can be switched out for a B20 or something later. After testing the mounts over a trial period I was thinking I would link a dropbox or something with all the cad drawings. This can then be used later by the community if any other members want to be a bit more involved in the fabrication of their own projects.
