So I stopped by a local Honda dealership ordering valve cover gasket, grommets, and the distributor o-ring. The parts guys started getting interested in my accord cause its 31 years old and still running. So I was telling them parts are getting hard to find, you know, the regular chit chat thing. Then one of them asked me hows the paint holding up. I told them I did the $50 rustoleum paint job with a paint brush half a year ago, they jumped right out of their chairs and headed to my car to check it out. I surely got compliments from these folks.
Anyway, I have only seen another 3rd gen in my city probably once or twice a year on the road. It is rare, period. The other day, I saw a Dx, relatively good shape. But I sure know its carb cause I was behind it and can smell it.
