ok, I'm not gonna say much, I think the pics say it all.

...well, all besides 45

everything here is brand new, and that manifold is a B18 DCOE manifold.

...ok so this still means I've very far from being able to put them in, but with the 'new' LX-i block built up, ported head, and wildgrind cam, along with all the proper piping, and I should be in business.

Don't you need to adjust the angle of the manifold?

I have the book on the right
let me know what you think about the book on the left... I may get it if it has good tuning info.

Oh and how much did the kit cost you?

ok, I'm gonna attempt to answer all questions asked so far....

Everything there is brand new, and yes that's a B18 manifold. I still have yet to line it up to the A20 head, and honestly I'm worried about it b/c of how little material I'll have to work with for the extra drilling. Yeah, that manifold is at a 0 angle, so the plan is to get it cut and rewelded at the proper angle. 15 right?

As for the airhorns, yeah they are real sweet looking, but it's gonna be a constant pain in the ass to keep 'em finger print free as you can already see.

Honestly, I have no idea when these will be installed. Mainly b/c these are just a piece of the project puzzle. These will be going on an A3 block with Wiseco pistons (10.5:1 most likely), shot peened rods, balanced, wild grind cam, rebuilt & ported head, port matched manifold, headers, 2.25" piping (no cat), all new fuel system, all new ignition, etc. etc. etc. So basically, I'm not even close to getting these on yet.

What do you think about the book entitiled "WEBER carbs."? I don't have anything to compare it to as I still have yet to read through that pierce book. I also have NO past experience with carbs, so this is all new to me. I personally think the weber book is good, but as I said before I have nothing to compare it to.

*edit: Oh yeah, and I'm not sure about the Jet sizes on the carbs, but they do have 36mm. chokes.

Those carbs and manifold set me back 850. I did get the full linkage kit along with these as well. Everything came in it's original box, and as I described before, nothing had ever even been test fitted onto an engine. I also got a 3 ft. length of fuel hose, a synchrometer tool, all mounting hardware, and that pierce book along with the kit.

Ur guess is as good as mine! LOL:D :lol

But it sure as shit will have more power, and most of all, it'll look damn good.

Just imagine the look on peoples faces when I lift the hood in response to the "what u got under there?". The look of WTF:huh: is that is enough of a reason to do it.

 ohhhh thats nice lol.manifold looks great though, gotta love those polished airhorns. If you want hp #s my dads freind has an old MG with DCOE's and it put out 232hp and 177ft pounds of toruqe at the wheels:eek: it has a ported head, cam grind,11:1 pistons(a little too much for stock rods)knife edged crank and runs on C12.It put out 115hp with just a cam and a header,so you can just take your hp #s from there.

wprocomp --> Is that MG a l6 or the 4banger? If it is the 4-banger, what's the displacement on the engine dead stock? Also, was that 115 at the wheels, or crank?

I think andy and site suggest closer to 10 degree angle so the carbs are pointing up a little bit.
