About 3 months ago I had to put my accord into storage as the original gearbox on my A20A4 decided it wanted to be a wind instrument, blowing a massive 6 inch hole in the bottom. Since then I have bought a B16 Sir2 (JDM) to do something with in future, however as of recent I wanted to drive my accord again so went about gathering info on a full swap. The other option that presented itself was to use the b16 transmission with an adapter plate on the A20. The brick wall I face now is Insurance as I cant get a re-quote for the modification/s before the engine/transmission has been installed, which will cost me around £200 or more. This wouldn't be a problem for many, however I am impatient and under 25 living in the UK.
If there are any UK owners of accords with similar modifications could you send me a message so I can quote a similar car to the one I would be driving after the modifications.
