Don't listen to him, he's trying to steal your engine cause he's got an inferior one :D

Anyway, if the valve cover is stuck, just take off the oil cap and stuck 2 fingers in there and yank the valve cover off. Get new valve cover gasket and grommets.

tap around the sides with the end of a screwdriver to loosen it up... dont just yank it off, if you dont have to ruin a gasket dont. only gonna make ur job that much harder.

And if you still have trouble, how about just leaving it alone to save yourself a headache? I know that a polished valve cover does look nice, but other people can't see it if the hood is closed, which is very likely to happen most of the time. Yanking it off can damage the gasket so do be careful if you think about yanking it off.

Well it is not like the gasket is a million dollars or something outragious like that. It is only $6.00 for a brand new O.E.M. one at your local Honda dealer.

You should replace it any way. If it has been on there about 14 years, and you take it off odds are it's not going to seal back up very well. It's just good P.M. (Preventative Maintance) to change all seals/ gaskets once you remove them. So yes, just unbolt and carefully pull it off.

no. and it's not even a vital gasket.
