Which water pump brand is better gates or cardone for a 86 accord lx, with carb and ac? I want to buy parts at a store instead of online and these are the 2 brands they have.

Well they are likely both good brands, according to google people have used both without incident.

So I would say just get the one that's cheaper.

Most remans are done by only a few companies so it doesnt matter all that much. New parts are the way to go if you can get em. I got lucky with a water pump, was new old stock.
