kickdown cable bracket bent?

Am i trippin or is the throttle bracket for the kick down cable bent? Is this done intentionally or did someone do this?

Looks a little bent. Should be easy to straighten though. Are you able to get the cable out with it like that?

If the throttle isn't hanging up, it's probably fine.
