I have a Kicker comp VR with a PPI 2240 amp.

The wires are connected to left channel in +/-

When i hooked up the wires in bridged mode, It wouldnt let me turn up the volume due to severe cracking in the sub. that tells me something is not wired right.

I looked up the amp online, and according to the specs it's able to be bridged and it shows it on the amp it's self.

It hits nice a clean in single channel mode but not in bridged....

If this pic is of when you are having problems its because you dont have it wired for bridged. Pull L+ and R- to power bridged.

I had it bridged and it started clipping, so i put it back to that setup in the pic.

That pic was taken after i tried bridging it.

if it is clipping turn your gain down

It cant be that, becuase if i bridge it, it's like i must have wired it wrong... it's like this, when it's in the left or right channel i cant turn it up.. But i cant even turn it up past 20 percent in bridged mode.

I'll try afew things. and see what's up.

yeah, mine was doing the same thing. turning down the gain seemed to solve the problem.
