Question about temp sender wire connector (easy)

I don't remember if I had to yank it off or if it slid off. Kind of scared to just jam in back on the sending unit. Please let me know if I'll be OK.

It's just a ground wire. As long as it makes good contact you'll be good.

Yep. The aftermarket SU was engineered differently. Went with old SU. Actually.. all of the aftermarket coolant sensors didnt fit. Smh.
