manual conversion

I serached for about a hour to seei f there was a manual transmission swap guide from auto tranny. Couldnt find it. I was wondering if anyone could give me the main steps and tell me what kind of tranny should i use and parts i will need to complete this process. engine swap prolly wont come for another year or 2 which is when i will decide to swap engine aftter i get a new car.
