My Dad bought this 1987 Honda Accord in Nov. of 1986 as a Christmas present for Mom and we have had so many memories in this car. I was in High School and just learned how to drive a stick from my job delivering parts for Nappa. For the past 6 years I have been slowly doing things here and there to get it up and running in the best ways possible, but mostly in the needed aspects. I have to admit I am pleased that it was also made in Ohio.
What has resounded my love for this car has not only been what a great little 4 door this is car is. So many specific to this car aspect have arisen over the years and have loved spending little cash and having such a well "in design" car. Have replaced / refurbished / jalopied / fandangoed many things on this car and the best part about it is when my Dad (now 84) gets so happy about the car still in the family and still talks like it is his.
I have been reading this forum for recent issues with the Vacuum system came up and still looking for a new throttle cable, anyway... Very helpful forum and great to feel the love for these cars. So I should join in the convo and hope to get help that is staring to be harder and harder to find, things AND experience.
Hoping to be welcomed to the Forum.
