I don't believe you guys live over there and haven't heard of it. Apple Blossom is basically a celebration of the Apple Blossoms with festivals and parades and stuff, but that isn't why everybody goes. Friday and Saturday night on the first weekend of May every year is the biggest cruise/street party in the state. I have gone every year for the last nine years and I will never miss it. There is no better place to see a good assortment of cars and a great assortment of boobs.
You guys could just go up at night to cruise but I prefer to camp or stay in a hotel. I always stay at Confluence State Park.
There are a ton of people out during the day too so I like to make a little vacation out of it.
To give you an idea - The strip is about two miles long. On Friday night you can basically make about five passes down and back in about five hours. On Saturday night you are lucky to make it down and back one time on the cruise strip. Last time I heard anything there were about 100,000 people out.
I don't even drive on Saturday anymore, it is more fun to go and sell beads and trade them for many different interesting things.
