I was thinking of the computer chip that controls your power window, but since you have a DX, you don't have power windows and so sorry if I can't think of anything else, but what you're thinking.

pull it off and have a look...you may find the lever that gets wound is missing some teeth.....or the actual winder is worn(the teeth)

Check it out inside the door. Is the post there? Where does the post go? Is it all screwed up? Go to a junkyard and tell them what you need. Go down there with the actual crank so you are sure it is the right one when they pull one for you.

i think checkers might have the cranks that you can buy. I know what your talking about cuz my friend's car got broken into by just sliding the window down and it broke his crank.

haha, i just got your name, haole-rot

actually, both my windows busted, my passenger window had been busted for two years, finally got around to replacing both the regulator and the crank...

go to a salvage yard, dont buy the parts from honda, youll be paying well over 300 in parts, besides, salvage yards are crawling with 3rd gen accords, i paid 20 bucks per side...

dont have someone else pull the part you need, do it yourself, that way when it comes time to removing and installing the parts you got from the junkyard, you'll at least have a clue of how the stuff goes together...

Well you could always get another door from the junkyard that is the same color of your car and your all set... Lataz

My windows stopped working at one point due to the harness under the dash getting disconnected. I'd check that first.
