View Full Version : B20 blocked hooked up to a stock LX Carb

I am getting a B20 block shipped from japan and I am wondering should i keep the carb, carb fuel system, and intake maniflod from my stock LX motor and hook it up to my B20 motor block. How much Horse am i going to gain that way. It an Dohc b20a1 16 value motor. i ll upload the pic of it

Ask AccordAerodeckUK, he has the B20a with a stock carb. He'll be able to help ya out.

Yes it is possible to run the B20a on a stock carb.
There are a couple of modifications to do for the cooling system and the inlet manifold support.
Nothing really dificult though.

Before my rebuild...and after my old mechanics f*cked up my harness and ecu....I was forced to run my stock B20A on a 38/38 weber downdraft. It worked fine. There was no manifold cooling. I still got that old rachet weber sitting in my room. Ah memories
